Future Goals:
- Improve current models for insect migration.
- Increase the use of GIS and GPS to help improve the control of insect pests.
- Develop near-real-time forecast models for insect migration to help decrease the need for large scale use of pesticides.
- Investigate the use of current NOAA and NWS technologies and products for monitoring insect movement.
